At BG Fashion Icon 2026, Vanesa Ateliers presented four looks exploring the relationship between the body, the object and identity.
Sculptural black silhouettes created a restrained setting for four individually handcrafted leather bags — three patent-leather clutches and one brown leather piece. Each introduced a different tension between line and curve, structure and movement, surface and form.
The presentation moved the bag beyond function. Held close to the body, it became part of the silhouette — a boundary between what is revealed and what remains personal.
The garments were created specifically for the runway presentation and are not available for purchase.
